Camber Spine Preceptorship Program
Camber Spine’s preceptorship program, led by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Williams in Fort Wayne, Indiana, delivers one-on-one training in the OLIF Approach.
This preceptorship has been created for the experienced surgeon to acquire knowledge and skills through on-site precepting, to integrate this minimally invasive technique into their practice—furthering our commitment to advancing spine surgery through education and innovation.
Program Overview:
Preceptorships offered monthly
One-on-one training for surgeons and their access surgeons*
Introductory OLIF discussion via ZOOM several weeks prior to on-site training
Pre-surgical case review and didactic session
Surgical day to include operative cases where surgeons have an opportunity to scrub in with their preceptor
Post-surgical follow-up Zoom meeting and personalized surgical planning for your first cases
Ongoing mentoring as needed and collaboration with other graduates of the program

John I. Williams, M.D., is a board certified and fellowship trained Orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in diseases and surgeries of the spine for SpineONE, a division of Ortho NorthEast, and has over 30 years of experience in the field of medicine. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Indiana State Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society. He is also a frequent presenter at many national Orthopaedic conferences.
